Sic Zone: Bear the consequences
07/11/13 || Cobal
Me, I started suspecting of anything labeled as groove metal a couple years ago. Sic Zone and similar likes are exactly the reason for that as they sail under that flag to justify their constant flirting with the cheapest form of metalcore and chugga-chugga guitars.
Not that any of the above is wrong. Not per se, that is. However, if you record an album relying exclusively on those questionable features, well, let’s just say your record is not for me. Add horrible harsh vocals and make all your songs feel the fucken same and you’ve lost me completely. While it’s impossible not to nod to a couple moments here and there, this is absolutely forgettable and uninteresting unless you’re in your early teens and easily connect with the Suicide Silence kind of br00tality, kiddo.
4/10: No offense meant, but FUCK djent-wannabes!
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
